Introducing The Latest Adds

 

I have been doing tons of trading recently and have been able to add some great Giants along the way including this Prizm Intros of Victor Cruz. Probably one of the best looking inserts Panini has ever put into Prizm if not their best looking insert all-time.

Say what you want about players like Paul Perkins, but I still add them especially cool looking cards such as this.

Three more shiny cards from Prizm. Love how the Red/White/Blue color match the Giants uniforms.

This marks only my second Daniel Bellinger card. This is a Red Zone parallel from Zenith

Some more shiny G-Men. I really like the Michael Strahan refractor from Finest.

Two numbered cards, one of Steve Smith who could have been one of the best Giants receivers in history if he hadn't been hit by the injury bug and Evan Engram who turned his career around in Jacksonville.

 

And finally, one of the many Giants legends but this guy is definitely a household name with his personality and being all over TV.

I have a few more trades coming in soon loaded with Giants and I will post them when they arrive.

Kerry’s Cardboard:2004 Playoff Hogg Heaven Leather Quads Dual Relic

I have been adding many Kerry Collins recently, but most have been focused on the 90s end which features him on the Panthers.

But, that doesn’t mean if I find a cheap add with him featured in a Giants uniform I let it go by.

This card I landed for under $5 and it features 4 Giants players. However, this is only the dual relic version of this card but it does feature the man of the blogs relic swatch alongside running back Tiki Barber, another Giants legend.

The back features two of my favorite Giants players all-time, I really need to do a countdown list at some point, just as their base selves.

I am hoping at some point to find/land the full quad relic.

Rodney's Cardboard:2020 Mosaic Black Autograph 1/1

Welcome back to the latest Rodney's Cardboard!

I have been hoarding these posts and Rodney's on three different blogs for months now and it's finally time they get to see the light of day....or blog.

Today's is a follow up from the last post of Mosaic and once again comes from the legendary Wes from JBF fame.

This is the only copy of this card in the world and I have it.

Single Card Mail Day:2020 Donruss Elite Swagger Dual Jersey

Saquon Barkley had a great 2022 season and I am looking forward to him on the field in 2023, hopefully with a longer-term contract as well.

I don't want to see him running elsewhere.

 

So, when I found a good-looking relic for a couple bucks, I grabbed it.

I don't know what is so eye appealing about this card, but I really like it.

I Do LOVE Prizm

I have a few favorite products from Panini I looked forward to every year and one of those is Prizm.

I usually try to chase a few parallels of NY Giants players, especially Eli Manning as you saw in a previous post, and just hoard them regardless of player.

Today's player is a great player, but one the Giants lost in the offseason when he signed a contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

But, once a Giant is always a Giant.

I grabbed this green for not much green on eBay.

 

And then traded for this Checkerboard parallel, my first checkerboard in my collection.

I am sure I will add some more to this run if they are cheap. I am always about affordability.

2008 Topps Chrome David Tyree Chase

I have many searches on eBay, some are for higher end material, some for in-between and some that many people don't think twice about.

David Tyree fits that final part.

One of my favorite David Tyree cards is the 2008 Topps Chrome that features the greatest play in Super Bowl history and I have been chasing it and the parallels from it ever since I saw it.

Recently I was finally able to add to it when this X-Factor popped up for under $3. Most of the X-Factors are listed on eBay for $12 each so I let them sit there in hopes for a cheaper deal. My cheaper deal arrived and paid off.

This one now goes with the rest of these,

Blue

And all of them together right now,

 

Nice!! Right?

There are still plenty of parallels to chase of this card but once again I will wait for the actual deals before I would ever jump.

Kerry's Cardboard: 2003 Bowman Chrome Refractor

It has been months since I added a new Kerry Collins card to the collection and I thought that was months too long. So recently I added a few Kerry to get that PC up and going again.

Today's was grabbed not only because it is shiny and beautiful, but it was dirt cheap for under $2 and numbered. It was hard to say no.

 

There are no odds on these refractors, but they are numbered to 500. I assume only a few per box.

2022 Prizm Eli Manning Run

I told myself I wouldn't chase Eli Manning in Prizm this year. I must have told myself many times that. But yet, here I am. Chasing 2022 Prizm Eli Manning.

I am no way at all chasing the rainbow as the 1/1 is priced outrageously, but I thought it would be fun just to snag a few cheap parallels and add to my Eli collection as I drive towards 1,000 Eli's.

Rodney's Cardboard:2020 Mosaic Black/Gold Autograph /10

Rodney's Cardboard is back and back to the blog it belongs. A blog that bleeds Giants blue.

So, let's take a look at my latest Rodney Hampton addition.

Today's card comes thanks to my buddy Wes, formerly JBF blog, who passed along some incredible Rodney goods this past Christmas.

There was a stack of Printing Plates, a couple inserts, a patch card (that will be soon) and some rare autographs.

The Mosaic Black/Gold autograph is one of the tough ones to find.

 

They are numbered to 8 and this is the only one I have ever seen listed. 

With this one down, it brings me down to just the two 1/1's remaining or maybe there is only one of those left to find........ I guess you better come back for the next Rodney's Cardboard to see.
