Loving These Cards Sent By Dennis!

Dennis from Too Many Verlanders Blog has always been one of the most generous bloggers I have met in my time of blogging.

He also knows his way around to finding some great cards and needs for my collection when he sends me a mail day.
I don't have a lot of Giants from the past two years so this Kayvon Thibs is new. I also have grown to liking Origins after many years of not doing so.

Topps Stars Bronze Michael Strahan numbered.

Elite Series Saquon who is an Elite player when he is healthy. I am begging the Giants to sign him back.

More Saquon. This time a Green Parallel of Power Players from Contenders.

I didn't like the 1991 Donruss design until Panini redid it. I think this card is bold and stands out. The photography is great as well. I would be into a base set like this.

This Will Allen is sharp and my lightbox did it's best to capture this card and all of it's beauty. He was the 22nd pick of the 2001 NFL Draft. He had his struggles on the field and stayed on the Giants for only a few years.

Some Eli Mannings I need to check and see if they are new once I have time to sit down to do so.

Leonard Williams Prizm Red Cracked Ice. The perfect card for Valentine's Day.

Sterling Shepard was a true Giant and team player. Hope he finds a role on the team next year after his retirement this year. He was always out there cheering on his teammates.

Steve Smith ranks up there on one of my most favorite NY Giants all-time list. If he hadn't hit the injury bug, he may have broken a ton of records for the Giants. He was that good.

And we close it up with this outstanding towel card of Davis Webb. I was sent a couple of these two Christmases ago by Wes and without Dennis knowing, I actually want to chase as many of these as I can. I know these aren't game worn but could be sweated on. Just a cool, multi-color relic. The card overall has a great look to it.

Thanks again for the superb mail day Dennis!!! I LOVE all of these cards. I hope to hit you back soon once I am feeling better. I have had some cards pulled aside for you for a few months.

I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day.

  2. I went through a Steve Smith phase where I was picking up his cards thinking he was gonna be the next Toomer. Now he's just one of those "what if" guys.

P.S. That towel relic is really cool. Love unique stuff like that.

    1. The Giants have had so many what if guys, another one off the top of my head is David Wilson. Super talented, fast, but neck injuries took the best of him
