Kerry's Cardboard:1999 Donruss Preferred Hard Hats

 It's always a good day when a new Kerry Collins card arrives in the mail.

Today I am showing off a 1999 Donruss Preferred Hard Hat.

These inserts fell randomly in packs and feature a player in front of their team logo on acetate. Simple, but superb design. I also like the fact Collins is featured in a Giants uni.

Each of these cards were numbered to 3000.

There were 30 overall in the set to collect and it's very tempting to chase it but with so many chases already, I will probably just be happy with Kerry.

    Very cool Hadn't seen or thought about this set in decades. I remember seeing the McNair somewhere. Not sure if it was in my collection or at the card shop I worked at back in the late 90's/early 2000's. I'm sure there's a Favre. Gonna head over to COMC to see how much that will set me back.

    This here is why 90s inserts rule! Acetate, numbered, and downright cool. Great pickup!
