Single Card Mail Day:2025 Elite Elite Coverage Jersey Card Jason Sehorn

As I put in the last post, I don't normally buy many newer jersey cards anymore due to the fact they don't contain actual game used jerseys or jersey even from the players featured.

But sometimes I will find one that will catch my eye anyway.

I picked up this up for pretty much nothing and I didn't grab it for the relic; I grabbed it for the moment. If I am looking at this right, this image is from Jason Sehorns incredible ground catching pick six moment in the 2001 NFL Playoffs against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Not only was it an incredibly focused catch and explosive moment, but it came against the Eagles who are my most hated team in the NFL. It was a very happy moment for me. I am glad that it is now captured on cardboard.

Let me know in comments if you have ever bought or acquired a card that features a moment.

Are They Coming Alive?

The Giants season hasn't been a great one so far, but I will say the last few weeks that have started playing better.

Yes, the Dolphins game was a blowout I guess, but they were down a lot of players, but they also forced three turnovers.

Then the defense came alive against Buffalo, a team the Giants led for three quarters with a shutout until the fourth where Buffalo took the lead and then the Giants losing at the Buffalo one yard line because the refs are blind.

The following week they got a big win at home and beat the Commanders 14-7 which put them at 2-5 and somehow only 1.5 games out of a wild card spot.

With the schedule supposedly getting a little soft right now with games against the Jets, Raiders, Commanders, Patriots could it be that this team can turn things around? For real?

I don't know that answer nor do I want to think they can. I already got my hopes up for the season and it did not pan out. Instead, I would rather just stay hobby positive and keep adding cards of theirs.

Kayvon is finally showing why the last few weeks the Giants drafted him so high.

Saquon is back from the injury and has gotten better the last two weeks.

And Danny Dimes is hopefully going to come back and play better than he has before the injury. If not, I could see Tyrod Taylor taking over for good. I personally still have faith in Danny.

These latest cards and two more that I haven't posted yet come thanks to a trade on Twitter with @_AustinFinley_.

The last two cards in this trade I will post soon. It will also give me a new Eli update :)

Single Card Mail Day:2020 Donruss Elite Swagger Dual Jersey

Saquon Barkley had a great 2022 season and I am looking forward to him on the field in 2023, hopefully with a longer-term contract as well.

I don't want to see him running elsewhere.

So, when I found a good-looking relic for a couple bucks, I grabbed it.

I don't know what is so eye appealing about this card, but I really like it.

Thoughts on my latest add and thoughts on Saquon welcomed in comments!

Single Card Mail Day:2017 Elite Passing The Torch Autograph Sterling Shepard

Yesterday was another Single Card Mail Day for me. Incoming cards have been a bit slow the past couple of weeks.

Today's post comes via a RAK I got from my friend @Brent3323 who grabbed this Sterling Shepard autograph from a stack seller on Twitter.

It's a nice-looking autograph card from 2017 Elite of Passing The Torch. The only thing I question about the card is the fact that past releases with Passing The Torch used to be dual players on a card, one was a legend, and the other is a rising star that was being handed the torch. However, this was just a one player card. Guess he is getting ready to hand the torch to someone else? Especially since this is most likely was his last season with the Giants.

The autograph is /99

And features a pretty plain back.

I think with this Shepard autograph it puts me into the double digits of autographs of him.

Thanks again to my buddy Brent for sending this autograph my way.

Thoughts on Passing The Torch and today's autograph is welcomed in comments.
