Single Card Mail Day:2016 Panini Rookies And Stars Freshman Orientation Autograph/Jersey Paul Perkins

Paul Perkins wasn't a Giant for very long, roughly 3 years, and played behind three other running backs when he first got into the league before being named the starter later in 2016.

But, he never quite caught on, got hurt so was cut by the G-Men in 2019.

After that he traveled around the league a few times but never made another run at playing full time again.

However, I still collect him and have some pretty decent cards of him. He is also very affordable as this recent pickup was found for $2 and those are the types of NY Giants adds I will take all day long.

Eli Countdown To 1K: 954,955,956,957

Rise and shine and check out my latest Eli Manning adds as I drive closer to 1K!
2014 Score Showcase parallel /99

Score 2013 Red Parallel /30. Scoring a low numbered parallels below $2 is always a steal.

2016 Panini Absolute Air Raid /50

2022 Spectra Championship Gear featuring Super Bowl 46. Whether this jersey was worn then, I don't know and can't remember if the back said if this was player worn or not. Either way, it was high on my want lists.

I currently don't have anymore Eli's on the way sadly, a trade fell through as well recently that would have been a really cool add, so there may be a delay in updates for my Manning chase. In the meantime, there will be more Giants cards to post. Stay tuned!

The Latest Eli's

I have been on an Eli buying rampage recently.

Any card that features Eli, catches my eye and fits into my very small budget, I will grab it.

Like this Eli that features the 1995 Finest design. I really like these. I have three I believe out of the rainbow...which I am not chasing.

This NFL Legends Rookie was under $5. Steal!

I usually only chase plain relic cards if they have an interesting design, like this one.

And this relic. Panini doesn't do it like this anymore.

Also grabbed this trio for under $6 as well.

My favorite relic pickup recently was this /50 Sunday Showdown dual patch card. Yes, these are patch swatches.

The next relic was like $3 for this Ultra Stars. It's plain all around, but for the price I had to snag it.

And the final card, another rookie card under $2.

In comments today, let me know your favorite card of the group today and if you buy relic cards for your PC player.

Single Card Mail Day:2020 Chronicles Jersey Card Daniel Jones

They call him Danny Dimes because of his throws, I call him Danny affordable when it comes to some of his cards.

When window shopping for other Giants cards, this one popped up on eBay for .55 with one day left. Being a Giants collector and one who seeks out cheap cards, it seemed like one to watch.

So, I did so and won the card for .55 and $1 shipped. I can't complain about a deal like that.

I actually haven't seen one of these relics before I saw this one pop up. I think the relic on the Chronicles base card design works well.

Back of card.

And the back actually has a real back, despite the jersey being player worn once again. I miss the game used days.

Thoughts on my latest add and if you have ever found a card under $1 on eBay before and what it was.

Kerry's Cardboard: 2004 Upper Deck Finite Finite Fabrics

It has been a long time since I posted in this series on here. It's not because I haven't been adding a few Kerry Collins cards here and there, it's mainly because I haven't lured in any needs that involve a Giants uniform.

Which are the only ones I post on here.

However, at first glance, I am sure you are wondering why I am posting a Raiders Collins card then after I just stated it was Giants or nothing for Collins on here.

That's because we didn't get to the back of the card yet.

That's where we find out that the jersey swatch featured on the front is from his time with the Giants.

Now I see you getting it.

After Collins left the Giants, he found himself in a Raiders uniform. I am impressed that Upper Deck noted which team the swatch was from. I miss these days.

Thoughts on my latest Collins add welcomed in comments!

Eli's Cardboard:2014 Topps Triple Threads Super Bowl Jersey Card

Relic cards are just being pumped out by the millions today and most, especially made by Panini, are not even player worn probably anymore. You might as well call them manufactured relics.

I miss the old days of relics when they were game worn. Who wants something you can purchase to wear yourself from Fanatics and use it in a relic card? Doesn't seem right.

I try to now-a-days focus on relics that are mainly game used or at least a piece of memorabilia I know the player featured had at least their hands on.

Like today's card.
Right on the front it states Authentic Memorabilia.

And on the back. Except the back says it was from Eli Manning. I assume that means he wore it despite the odd description.

This newest add ranks right up there as one of my favorite Eli Manning relic cards. Of course, anything that involves the Giants Super Bowl wins will.

Thoughts on my latest addition or thoughts on the lack of game used relic cards today is welcomed in comments below.
