The 2025 Season Is Underway!

It may only be preseason, but, the NY Giants hit the football field and came out victorious with a 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills.

It was a great game with some great plays and made me pumped for the upcoming season.

The Giants started the game with some of its starters including QB Russell Wilson and RB Tyrone Tracy who ran the ball for 9 yards on 3 carries and caught two other balls for seven yards.

 

I recently picked up two Tracy autographs for my collection. The top one, despite the no-logo look from Leaf, is a cool snakeskin design while the second one from 2025 Score caught my attention because of the throwback jerseys.

I am hoping he can match the season he had last year, his rookie year, where he piled up over 1100 scrimmage yards.

Overall, I was happy with the team's overall performance today. The starting offense moved the ball, Jaxson Dart looks like the future, and the defense played fast and aggressive. I know it's just preseason, there is a long way to go, but the 2025 football season is underway!

Single Card Mail Day:2025 Score Autograph Joe Morris

When 2025 NFL products finally start to hit the market, I try to jump on adding some new Giants cards.

Usually it's the new rookie class with the Giants helmet featured or them in Big Blue uniform.

But, this time, I found a dirt-cheap Joe Morris autograph so that was my very first 2025 add.

 

Joe helped lead the Giants to a Super Bowl XXI win against the Denver Broncos with his short and powerful running.

He also has a really nice signature and I love the old school look to this years product.

I am hoping to add more from Score soon, but I noticed that Elite and Luminance have released as well so expect an onslaught of Giants soon.

Eli Countdown To 1.5K: 1007,1008,1009,1010,1011,1012,1013,1014,1015(plus bonus card)

With my latest trade from blog reader Oren, I jumped up quite a few Eli's on my journey towards 1.5K.

It's amazing how many basic Eli cards I didn't have.

1007:2022 Score Gold

1008:Leaf Limited base from 2008

1009: How did I not have this one from 2012 Topps?

1010: Contenders base. Looks cooler in person.

1011:2012 onruss Elite base

1012: is from 2012. It's a Topps Magic base card. Topps Magic was very underrated.

1013; 2014 Absolute Football retail red parallel. Very hard to store these.

1014:2016 Donruss Production Line

1015: Phoenix base card.

And for good measure, Oren surprised me with a bonus jersey/patch card.

 

Great addition to my Gallman PC.

Eli Countdown to 1.5K:1006 (my first Eli 1/1!)

This will be sweet and short...but here is my very first Eli Manning 1/1 and card #1006 in my Eli Manning collection... thanks to a trade with my buddy Shane from Cheap Wax Wednesday....

It's a printing plate, I know many don't care about those anymore but it's still my first 1/1 of Eli!!!

I couldn't find this one to add on TCDB, so any assistance with that would be welcomed.

Eli Countdown To 1K: 991,992,993,994,995,996,997,998,999

Well, last I posted my Eli chase on here I ended at card 973. 

For some reason, all of the cards I had from 974-990 disappeared from drafts so I guess we will have to fast forward some. Nothing wrong with that right?

So, let's get this party started as I creep ever so closely to 1,000 Eli Manning cards.

991 was a Twitter RAK. It's a 2023 Chronicles Draft Clearly.

992 was another RAK this time it's a numbered card from Topps Triple Threads. I believe an emerald parallel.

993 and the rest are all from a trade I did with @90sNicheFBcards on Twitter. Just before he mailed my package, he pulled this 2023 Prestige purple /99 from a pack and tossed it along.

994 is a Rookies and Starts /99

995 is a Heritage Chrome /1950

996 is from 2022 Prestige. This is a simple insert I probably would have pulled if I bought any cards last two years. But, I got it anyways thanks to a trade.

997 is a 2022 Prizm Pandora parallel

998 is one of the most unique/coolest parallels of 2023. Alien! Have you seen anything cooler??! These were super SSP's, probably case hit level.

 

And Card 999 is one I have been wanting for a while, a nice big swatch Pro Bowl jersey.

Score 2013 Red Parallel /30. Scoring a low numbered parallels below $2 is always a steal.

 

2016 Panini Absolute Air Raid /50

2022 Spectra Championship Gear featuring Super Bowl 46. Whether this jersey was worn then, I don't know and can't remember if the back said if this was player worn or not. Either way, it was high on my want lists.

I currently don't have anymore Eli's on the way sadly, a trade fell through as well recently that would have been a really cool add, so there may be a delay in updates for my Manning chase. In the meantime, there will be more Giants cards to post. Stay tuned!

First Gmen Of 2023

Being able to trade online is the greatest. With my finances not great, trading is my go to.

My latest trade though was actually in person. This time it was with my father who recently busted some Score and set his Giants aside for me.

These mark my first 2023 Giants.

Hodgins looked good against the Panthers. Could pick up where he left off.

This guy has made some plays in preseason and in training camp. Hope he stays on the team somehow.

This guy made a drop against the Panthers then made up for it on the next play with a completely wide open 33 yard touchdown grab. Pretty excited what he can bring.

Well that does it for my first 2023 Giants. I still need more from Score, all from Legacy and probably from any other product coming up knowing I won’t be buying much.

Rodney's Cardboard:1997 Score Premiere Club (Team Set)

Honestly, I have no idea where to file this Rodney Hampton under when I looked it up on my spreadsheet. The only thing that matches up is the NY Giants team set cards so that's where it went.

This card comes via my buddy Shane from Cheap Wax Wednesday fame.

I may not have much if any info on this card, but what I am showing off is spectacular. This card is even better in person I promise you that.

If you have any information on these, let me know in comments. Otherwise, I welcome comments in general on this card. They sure don't make them like they used to.

Also, thanks again to Shane on this trade and for helping me cross another off my want list.

My Isaiah Hodgins PC Thus Far

He wasn't the biggest name of the 2020 NFL Draft when the Buffalo Bills drafted him, but he made a big impact on the 2022 NY Giants.

Isaiah was drafted in the 6th round by the Bills in 2020 but never caught on with the team that was already loaded at WR. He was waived on November 1st and grabbed by the Giants on November 2nd. He hauled in 4 touchdowns in the final 5 games with the Giants helping them on their run. Then in the playoffs against the Vikings, he hauled in 8 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. He had the flash of a number one guy for Daniel Jones.

I caught on with Hodgins in the first few games he had with the Giants and decided I wanted to chase his cards.

I don't have a lot yet, but here is what I have so far,

The Score 2022 Autograph Chase

It was nice to see this year's Score football release come out a little later so the rookies can be featured in their NFL uniforms as opposed to college ones which is the typical thing for Score.

Which made me like this year's product even more than usual. Not too mention, it included a ton of Giants autographs on its checklist.

So, when I saw that Jashaun Corbin was apart of that checklist,I had to have it. I didn't have his autograph yet and he was a part of the Giants 2022 rookie class.

Next up, even though Kyle Rudolph was not great for the Giants, he still played for them, and I still wanted his autograph in blue. Well, Score had one for me.

Both of these autographs combined I paid less than $10 for.

After landing both though, I had a crazy idea. What if I chased all of the Giants base autographs from Score? How cool would that be?

So here is what I would have to chase if I decide to continue,

Score 2022 Mail Day

2022 Score released a little over a week ago and once I saw some of the Giants cards in the set, I wanted them.

Thanks to @HoopsGD, I was able to add all of the base plus more.

For the first time in YEARS, the rookies are finally featured in their NFL uniforms. Yeah, they are lame photos from the RPS, but it's better than college jerseys. This is the first cards of the rookies, minus Robinson, that I have in their Giants jerseys. Always a beautiful thing to get the first ones.

These two right here had a heck of a Sunday against the Packers. Hope both can keep it going.

Rudolph isn't a Giant anymore, but I don't mind adding cards of him still. And I have a firm belief that Sterling will be back next year.

Here are three other G-Men stars. Yes, there are four cards but I am never counting Golladay.
